The Industrial Wave began in britain for many reasons. In 1700s, Britain's economic system was mainly an agricultural economy. Prosperous landowners bought up all of the land and enclosed their very own land with fences letting them cultivate much larger fields named enclosures. This caused the enclosure movements, which set most small farmers out of work causing those to move to cities. This movements to towns is known as urbanization, which offered Britain a huge population of workers. Great britain also got many organic resources and an increasing economy to support industrialzation, or the process of expanding machine production of goods. The resources needed to give these services and goods were referred to as factors of production, including land, labor, and capital (wealth). Besides the postive effects, the Industrial Wave also experienced negative effects. Due to urbanization, various cities, whose infrastructure program could not sustain the rapid population growth, were overcrowded with people trying to find jobs. England's cities lacked decent casing, sanitary rules, education, and police safeguard. Many workers of the doing work class occupied small , dirty shelters in which sickness was widespread.
